Will a bad credit score affect the decistion of graduate schools?

I’m wondering if graduate schools will look at one’s credit score when evaluating the applications? I am currently having a very low credit score due to financial issues and worried that there will be no chance to be accepted into any graduate school because of this. Thanks a lot!

They will not look at your credit score. But getting enough loans to finance your graduate degree (if needed) may be very difficult.

thanks for the reply. So for the admission, do they mainly look at gpa and gre scores? And they dont look at one’s credit score for the admission right?

They have no cause or right to look at your financial status. They are looking at your academic record and reference letters only.
