Will a regular mattress pad work on the twinxl mattress?

<p>i was thinking i had one already, but it is twin, not twinxl.</p>

<p>i guess i will just go buy one, just in case the one i have will not work.</p>

<p>I would think it might work if the edges are those stretchy types since the twin XL mattresses are not that thick.</p>

<p>Are you doing a mattress topper? If so, then a mattress pad isn’t necessary for the mattress cuz the topper will need one (and may come with one).</p>

<p>The discount stores (TJ Maxx & Marshalls) had the twin XL for $13. Save the receipt and you can return if the other works.</p>

<p>yes, i ordered a memory foam topper, but i don’t think it comes with a mattress pad.</p>

<p>we have a tjmaxx close, i’ll try there. if not there then target or walmart.</p>

<p>Well, then you need a mattress pad for the mattress topper. If a regular one will fit on it, then you’re good to go.</p>
