Will a W on my transcript effect college admissions?

I am applying to college as a criminal justice major and as a psychology major for the schools without criminal justice. I have an F in AB Calc and I’m deciding whether or not to drop with a W.
note: this is my first W

The other classes I am taking are
-AP Stats (another math class. Maybe dropping Calc won’t be bad if I have another math class)
-AP Envi Sci
-AP Lang
-AP Music Theory
-Spanish 4
-Government

Will dropping Calc affect my admissions?
Is it true that since I’m not majoring in anything related to math that it’s not as bad?
What are some other options if any?

A W looks way better than an F. You don’t need to be carrying two math classes. Drop the class.

Agreed. You have the five major subjects covered, plus an AP elective. Schools won’t think you are lacking anything by not having a seventh class and a second math one.
