will an A.S. in paralegal studies hurt or help my admissions chances

I was looking at courses at my local community college, & have realized that if I play my classes right I could get an A.S. at the beggining of my senior year in paralegal studies & potentially start some work? It seems interesting to me but would holding an A.S. hurt my chances at a T20? or could it help? I am already taking classes as a sophomore because I wrote a letter to the college & they made an exception so I could start classes as a sophomore instead of a junior.

It’s not something a T20 offers, not considered an academic pathway. You’d be competing against kids who used cc to advance in traditional core classes.
