Will ATTEMPTED Sexual Assault conviction hurt my chances?

<p>Hey guys, </p>

<p>I Just wanted to know if an ATTEMPTED sexual assault conviction will hurt my chances of getting into Duke? </p>

<p>I have a 4.9 GPA, 2350 SAT Score, Multiple extracurriculars. I am a model student, except I was accused of rape. Hopefully this wont be a barrier to entry, I’m really looking forward to spending time with like-minded peers.</p>

<p>i think that may be a problem if you were indeed convicted. as you may know, duke went through a sex crime scandal with their lacrosse team a couple years ago, and im sure they are reluctant to chance that again (not saying that i uphold or believe that you actually committed the offense). but no, i dont think you will be outrightly rejected because of this even though it may weigh you down. sorry for the poor news :/</p>
