Will attending a CC hurt my chances at Grad School?

I’m thinking of majoring in bio engineering and would like to attend UCLA or UCSD some time during my undergraduate years. Unfortunately, I just received a rejection from SD and UCLA isn’t looking to well. I have yet to hear from SB and UCI about their decisions, but from what I’ve heard, transferring between UCs will be harder to accomplish than transferring from a CC. The end game is to go to Stanford or some other highly respected research university with a great Bio engineering graduate program. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, and if this post has been previously addressed, feel free to post a link.

For PhD programs, your undergraduate research, recommendations, and upper division courses and grades will be the important parts of your application.

However, some medical schools may not like to see pre-med course work taken at CCs.

Thanks for your input, and I assume that by your last remark, you mean bio engineering PhD programs as well?
Also, if you wouldn’t mind taking a look at my latest post I would greatly appreciate that.
