I have struggled in high school with add and learning disabilities. I have an upward trend and even made the honor roll my second semester of junior year! I got threes on both my ap exams (micro and jr english) and a 1120 composite sat with 510 writing. 23 Act. Fairly good extracurriculars including academic team, jobs, cross country and track, volunteer work. First ten week junior year grades were ap english 82 spanish 2 84 personal finance 87 stat 87. Cumulative gpa is between 2.65 and 2.75 at the end of junior year. I was wondering what my chances for these schools would be
UVM
Champlain
Siena
Iona
Umass Amherst
Bridgewater State
Plymouth State
St. Michaels
St. Thomas Aquinas
Colby Sawyer
Hobart
Manhattanville
Marist
St. Joes
Wagner

I would say all these schools are in your range. Just communicate you disabilities write, good essays and you have around 80% in getting into all of them.

Hey what did you mean on my thread when you said, “I would guess youd have a high return.” ??

As others have said, make sure that the schools are fully aware of your learning disabilities because achieving those grades under your circumstances is much more impressive.

I’d say that you have over 50% chance at all of them. Good luck!

Hey! I don’t really know that much about any of those school but I’ll try. Manhattanville, Bridgewater State and Plymonth State should all be good. UMass and UVM are a little harder, but I think you still have a good shot. The rest… I seriously don’t know. I’m sorry. Good luck with your college applications!

definitely let the adcoms know about your ADD, and you’ll be in great shape.

I don’t know a lot about any of those schools except UMass Amherst, but I agree with everyone else… if you let the admissions department know about all the challenges you’ve faced with your disability and whatnot (it could be a great essay topic if spun the right way), you’ll probably be in good shape. :)

I think you’re basically in into all of them. I’m not too sure though because I’m not TOO familiar with your choices. Do write about your disability though!
