<p>Do they do this? I’ve kind of been possibly considering doing some volunteer work in Costa Rica/possibly Albania. I just feel like I need some life experience… like, maybe I’m not all the way ready for college?</p>
<p>Actually you can put the decision on hold but only up to a year.</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure you can; I know two people here who took a gap year, but I’m not sure when they applied to CMU.</p>
