Will Colleges Notice This

So I know I’m super over reacting, but I get anxiety and right now I’m really worked up about this. I am planning on applying to selective schools (Harvard, MIT, Stanford, etc.), and I’m worried about one of my grades. I have a 4.0 GPA, but last semester I got a 93 in an honors english course (it is a pre-req for AP Lang, which I am taking this semester, our classes are on a block schedule) due to one really bad test grade. I am worried that this will be looked down on my colleges. It isn’t my lowest grade on my transcript (that would be a 91 in AP bio freshman year) but it still worries me.

Thanks for any help.

Will they notice it? Yes. Will that be a deal breaker? No. Chill. A 93 is not a bad grade.

There are plenty of things in life to worry about; this is not one of them.

yes, you are over reacting.
a.
lot.
do chill. and do remember that your need to apply to safety colleges as well where you have a great probability of acceptance, rather than just colleges that reject 90-95% of all applicants, no matter how “qualified” they are.

there are simply too many great kids vying for too few openings.
i.e. musical chairs run amuck…

@menloparkmom thanks for the reassurance that’s all i really needed. I am applying to GA tech and UGA as safeties (i am in state), and a couple other target schools like Northwestern.

Northwestern is a reach, not a target. Last year it’s acceptance rate was 13%. I wouldn’t call that a match school at all.
