I know that UC applications have long been admitted, but I am quite worried that they will rescind my admission. Before I started high school, I took a geometry class at a community college and received a ‘D’ grade, but re-took it again in high school and got an A+. Since the instructions on the University of California said not to enter grades ‘D’ or lower for classes taken in the 7th and 8th grade, I didn’t enter it onto my application.

Would they rescind my application since they will be able to see the grade in the community college transcript that I have to turn in? Should I write a correction to all of the colleges I have applied to?

How would they see it? Middle school is middle school. You’re not at the level of things mattering that much.

I don’t think there’s a way for them to see it. Unless your community college somehow forwards that grade to your high school.

lol, I think you answered your own question. “Since the instructions on the University of California said not to enter grades ‘D’ or lower for classes taken in the 7th and 8th grade, I didn’t enter it onto my application.”

I read somewhere that a community college class taken before high school does not count. Especially if you retake that class. My daughter took Golfing in 7th grade and tennis in 6th grade at community college but she did not list them. She got both As but that is not the point here. The point is the instruction says not to report and she didn’t . So you are ok.
