Will colleges still accept me?

I’m a junior at a very competitive high school. I’ve been a good student 9-10 grades but this first semester of my junior I got 4 C’s… They were all in AP courses, does that make a difference? I know I can raise them all this semester and I think I can work hard for good SAT and ACT scores. I also have good extra curriculars like marching band, special needs volunteer, full orchestra, and I have made All-Region band every single year. I’m just really scared I won’t be able to go anywhere besides community college. Do I still have a chance at maybe University of the Pacific?

Are the C’s with our without weight? Also, colleges will keep in mind that these are AP courses, therefore more difficult than the standard classes offered. My main advice to you would to aim high on the final AP Exam in May. If you get a high score, that will matter more than what grade you got first semester.

If you can get good scores, then yes, you would still have a shot a U of P.

Good choice btw! I visited there last spring, it was gorgeous!
