Will CR look bad on the transcript?

Hi everyone

I’m having a bit of a struggle with one of my graduate courses. I’m not failing it, however I’m losing confidence to get an A. Getting a B in it will drop my GPA by almost 0.15, whereas if I miraculously get an A it will only bump me by 0.03. That’s why I’m considering to switching it to Credit / No Credit so it will have no affect on my GPA at all. The only concern I have whether or not it is going to look bad for employers when they see CR on the transcript? The course is in my major, but is optional, and the knowledge of the course is not essential for the type of work I’m going to be doing.

Most employers don’t care about transcripts and those that do are unlikely to care about a CR.

It should be no problem at all. Go ahead and do it if it takes the pressure off and allows you to do better in your other classes.
