*** mate? poseur is effing amazing <3 and I’m sure she gets more game than you, so keep the crap to yourself…

and impaled, this is all I have to say to you:

The passion you have for looking good on paper will clearly show to adcoms and you will definitely be a shoo in at HYPSMCaltech+UPenn! You are totally on the right track! I’m sure creating a Mu Alpha Theta chapter B** is at least as good as making IPhO or IMO, right?

Ah, Poseur, the stereotypical “omg I’m too cool for the college admissions frenzy lulz” kid. i love it when the act of hating on a cliche actually becomes a cliche in itself. that just blows my mind

Okay, so I’m going to speak for Poseur here so correct me if I’m wrong…I’m fairly certain that she has nothing against the “college admissions frenzy,” but despises people who simply do things to look good on paper and I totally agree with her…

Ah, mcgoogly, the stereotypical “I will make hasty judgments about people on the internet in addition to entirely misunderstanding their intentions.” WHY AM I DIGNIFYING YOU WITH A RESPONSE LOLZ.

well, to actually give advice to the OP, start it, if you want. it can’t look BAD on your apps, right? but i can say it’s a big responsibility. my friend is prez this year, and she spends a lot of time on it.
And impaler, don’t get offended by the posters on this thread…like most ppl on cc, they prob’ly do 99% of stuff for colleges, too. i’m guilty of that, and am not ashamed of it
ya do what ya have to, eh?

I’m “tedious”, now? okay…whatevs. hey, at least i didn’t type a 300 word response to a question from a silly OP (although i lol’d at your response) :)

Oh Poseur you slay me, jacking my sentence structure and all. LOLZ y do i even reply to some1 like you who rags on people for doing things to get into college. UR so creative and intellectual and unique and superior to naive little newjacks like Impaler here. ok but seriously now, I am actually feeling tedious right now just describing your dull and trite stereotype.

ya dude, newjack was on my february SATS and rags is a word i ganked from my SAT vocab sheet… so glad you recognized it! Do you do Princeton Review SAT classes too?!!

Nothin wrong with trying to game (Note: SAT Vocab Word!1!) the college admissions process, thats what even little kids like DataBox and pros like Poseur are doing on this site anyway.

LULZ more like they become Presidents and CEOs. Stop making quotes

I’m a senior. I got on this site as a junior – you know, the appropriate time to start looking at colleges. I’d already taken the SAT in the beginning of the year (without studying), so I didn’t even peruse the site for test-taking tips (who studies for standardized tests?!); I just used it to learn about the college admissions process and about particular colleges in which I was interested.

edit – Oh, I misread your post. I thought you were calling me a little kid, too. Well, what I said still applies. I used the site to get advice about applying to college, not to “game” the process.
