will ETS send negative records of test to universities?

If my Toefl test scores are cancelled by ETS, will there be some negative records about me?

And will ETS report it to universities?

Somebody said that even if I re-take the Toefl test, my new transcript will also be marked with special notes like "“misconduct”, is that true?

Any one knows the answer?

Pick up the phone.

Call ETS.

Ask them about this.

They are the only ones who can answer your questions with any accuracy.

IF you don’t want to take the TOEFL, you can always apply to colleges and universities that will accept the IELTS instead.

Why do you want your scores cancelled? Are you afraid you did poorly on the exam, and that dropping the exam would reflect poorly on you, or were you flagged for cheating or some other testing infraction?

Happymom is right, the only way to get accurate information would be to call ETS itself.

yes, thanks.

I called, ETS told me that if retake the test and get a new score, no special mark will appear on the transcript.
