Stony Brook is my dream college however my scores are border line I am a junior going into my senior year of high school with a 88 unweighted average 91 weighted. I got a 1130 on the new SAT. 610 in math 520 in reading and writing. I got a 22 composite on my ACT. Do I have a chance of acceptance?
You’re below the 25th percentile there for both tests. Your chances will be awfully slim.
Even if you don’t get in now, Stony Brook accepts many transfer students. So go to a CC, do well there and you can still attend stony brook.
Sprinkles is correct. Many students get into SB from both Suffolk and Nassau Community Colleges. There might even be transfer guarantees if you get a certain GPA.
