Will I be penalized for original bad score on Math II?

I took the math 2 for the first time in May completely on the fly (decided while in the test room after taking US…) and did pretty miserably (660). I studied and took the June one, and brought that up to a 790, which I’m definitely happy with. Most of the schools I’m applying to require all scores. Will that 660 come back to haunt me?

Your conscience will penalize you for the score, as is evidenced by this thread.

^lol
Seriously, most schools only consider the highest scores. You got a 790. You’ll be fine.

There is a nifty invention called “Score Check,” with which you may select your best scores to send to all colleges. I am aware that University of Pennsylvania does not participate in this, however.

^You mean Score Choice? o.O

@Ambivalent, ■■■■■, so true…

and yea, my top choices (Columbia and Penn) don’t take score choice.
thanks @Spatula. That takes the stress off from that.

How did you study for math?

Hours with the Barron’s book and then Bluebook

How many months/weeks/hours did you spend studying?

What’s bluebook?

^ The Blue Book is the College Board’s book of released official SAT II exams (at least that’s what I understood the OP to be discussing).
