Question says all.
I’ve been in pre-IB language arts class in the 9th and 10th grade (pre-IB is basically honors).
In 11th grade, I took IB Lang and Lit HL (which is similar to literature, except we analyze newspapers and films and art - basically media-related).

Now I want to sign up for the SAT II Lit for October. That means I’ll have like 2 months study time starting from now and also a months worth of my senior IB Lit class. Will scoring a 700+ seem possible?

I heard the lit was a hard test, so I’m still undecided as to whether I should take this.

You can’t actually know how hard it is till you try it, you know? I would buy a recent-printed practice book asap. Like maybe find one for 2012, or 2013 instead of this.
And read over this, as it gives all the information. [Literature Subject Test - SAT Subject Test in English Literature Practice Questions](<a href=“The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board”>The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board)

Personally, I think you’d do fine if you got an A or a high B in your lit class. For this subject test you’d need to know abou American Lit, English lit, 20th century, prose passages, and poetry the most; not including the other stuff that are there but aren’t included as much as these are. But i’d just keep studying and if you feel that you can take the test by october, then take it. You have the whole year to study so take your time, but you know; don’t lay it off.
