Will I ever get a girlfriend?

A lot of girls think scars are hot. (Granted, it’s better if said scars were obtained while wrestling tigers or something, but the appearance is the same.) What WILL hurt you is if you let it make you self conscious and insecure. I second everything Atomicbomb said.

And no, that doesn’t make you a URM, but it gives you something interesting to write your essays about.

Thanks everyone! The only thing I’m worried about is that I don’t really have much to offer girls. It’s not like I can come up to a girl and say I’m working on a fundraiser that will build 100 schools in Africa and doing it while studying bioengineering at Harvard or something like that. I’m obviously exaggerating but in my experience those things really help. All the top male students at my HS date really hot girls, so IMO this may also cause me a big problem. I’m not lazy, but I’m just not your standard CC genius. Any advice?

relli? the academically top students gets all the girls?
wow. tell me where your school is.

Me too. The scar makes her look really cute.

any more responses?

listen to atomicbomb.

As for being interesting–You’ve been alive 18+ years, or close to it. You must’ve picked up some EC that you really enjoy, learned something really interesting. There is ALWAYS something that you can offer to the other person, no matter how socially ■■■■■■■■/insecure they are.

If you don’t have anything to offer, then take something that’s relevant in your life and MAKE it interesting! The only way I realized that this works is by talking with confidence. CONFIDENCE–pretend like you know what you’re talking about. If she asks a question you can’t really answer, then fire a question back at her! Tease her, laugh, have fun, and be CONFIDENT! Don’t dwell on all the possible outcomes, live in the moment. Live and let live! Go get 'em!
