Will I get accepted?

Okay so I am currently a community college student. I really want to go to Mcgill University in Canada. I would also like to go to a good school in America, although I am not sure where yet. I am a bit worried about getting accepted into a good college or univeristy.

So far I have attemped 33 credits at my community college and have completed 24 or them. My GPA is at a 3.75.

This is a list of the classes I have taken so far:

composition 1
general psychology
abnormal psychology
sociology
philososphy
intro to music
ancient history
history before 1877

This semester coming up I will be taking a literature class along with social, and developmental psychology classes. I was to major in psychology down the line.

I plan to maintain my GPA at around 3.75

However I have not taken any math courses yet. And I plan on only taking one math course. And that is the math course I need to achieve an associates degree. It is any math course above a 1000 level. I know that does not give you guys much since all college courses are different at different schools.

But how is this looking for me, I also do not plan on taking any foreign languages. I am under the impression that at most schools a student can major in something like psychology bachelor arts without taking foreign language. Where as psycholgy bachelor science requires foreign language.

If I keep my GPA high without advaning in math beyond the basic requirement for a general studies associates degree, do I still have a solid chance to get into a good school?

From what I’ve seen, selective universities generally want prospective students to take classes liberally across the disciplines. This means taking natural or physical science with labs and/or advanced math like calculus or stats. What do you mean by a “good school”?

^^ took the words right out of my mouth…neways, for cc i would suggest you take courses that are a little more rigorous
