I’m applying ED1 to American Uni.
And if if i get in i know that colleges can rescind offers
I currently take IB History of the Americas and it’s a history class.
If i fail that class this semester will i get my offer rescinded ?
Most offers of admission come with conditions. You will need to review those conditions. Often the conditions include expectations for grades throughout senior year and, if you do not meet those expectations, you will need to contact them and explain what happened. Yes, it is possible to get an admissions offer rescinded if you fail a class, so I would strongly encourage you to do everything in your power to get at least a C-. You will also need to carefully read your admissions offer to see what conditions they require and what you should do if you do not end up meeting them.
