Will I get in?

I am currently a Junior at a nationally ranked High School, and I want to know if I can get into Cornell.
GPA: UW (3.7) W (4.33)
ACT: 31
EC: Captain of Swim team and the sailing team
Vice President of band which is the largest student organization at my school (Roughly 1/3 of students)
NHS
Chess Club
Peer Tutoring
Internship at local theatre (2 Years)
300+ volunteer hours at a hospital
Summer Job: Lifeguarding

My other question was: If I wanted to major in History and my history grades are really good, but my science grades are low Bs how would that affect my chances.
Thank You

Cornell really looks at how great you “fit in.” Although your history grades may be good, it does not mean that you actually fit in. One must actually have things that point to your passion about history. For example, if I were to apply to Cornell for pre-med, I would try and find internships at hospitals or go volunteer at places that are related to pre-med.

Obviously everyone has a chance to get into a prestigious university like Cornell; however, the question is how great is your chance. For you I would actually say that there is a good chance for you to get in!! Try to maintain your grade and try not to go under 3.7 unweighted gpa, do some more extracurriculars and (START YOUR ESSAYS EARLY AND GET THEM CHECKED OFTEN). If you want to show that your a great fit for cornell, essays are very crucial! Other than that, I believe you will be fine.
