Will I get in?

I’m currently a High School Senior and I was wondering if anyone has applied to Lycoming College, Eckerd College, or Stetson University. These three colleges are the three colleges that I plan to apply to for early acceptance/ rolling decision (only type of admission Stetson offers otherwise I would apply ED). Basically, I was wondering-actually freaking out- about if I’ll be accepted to these colleges/university. Here are my Stats:

I got a 24 on the ACT: 32 in Reading, 25 Science, 23 English, 23 Combined English/Writing, 17 Math (I know my math is terrible but I can not retake the test again so I’ll have to deal with it).

I volunteer with an environmental organization, I have in the past volunteered with the SPCA, and I volunteered with a local soup kitchen my Freshman year.

I was the secretary of the Interact club my Freshman year 2012-2013. I am in Beta Club (you have to have a GPA of 3.5 to be accepted) 2014-pesent. I am in NHS ( you have to have a GPA of a 3.8 to be accepted)2015-present. I am also in Model U.N. 2015-present. I am a member of the National Society of High School Scholars 2014-present.

I am in the top 15% of my class, more specifically 50 out of 344 students. I have a weighted GPA of 3.9 uw 3.74

I have take several AP test: United States Government 3, Psychology 4, AP language 3, I also took the AP US History test and scored a 2 (no one sored above a 3 at my school). I am currently take four AP courses: AP Environmental Science, AP Macroeconomics, AP Human Geography, and AP Language.

National Recognition:
The National Society of High School Scholars.
I was chosen by the National Academy of Future Physicians to represent my state and school at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in D.C. in 2014 but could not attend because of financial reasons.

School Recognition:
I had the highest grade average in a business class 2014-2015
I had the highest grade average in another business class 2014-2015

Sports:
I was an all-star cheerleader fro the age of 3 to the age of 17.

I think those are the important Stats. I have already started the common app for all three of these colleges and I am almost finished with them. I currently only have to write my essay and have my counselor and teachers write recommendations. I guess what I’m trying to say is I am really nervous that I will not get into any of the colleges and I need someone who has experience with these colleges to tell me if I will, might, or not get into them just to ease my worrying.

P.s. I’m sorry that this is so long I just wanted to make sure that I included everything so you will have a more rounded idea to better determine my situation.

I’m a rising senior this year

-Your AP scores may or may not be accepted depending on you major in and what the score policy is at each school
-Your GPA and class rank are really good for each school
-Your EC’s are good for these schools (the volunteering, academic honor societies, cheerleading, etc.)

I would worry about your ACT for the schools you’re applying to

  1. Lycoming- 26 ACT
  2. Eckerd- 28 ACT
  3. Stetson- 28 ACT

-I would apply to some safety schools in your area, your ACT score is a little low so it may be harder to get in. Try a local community college as your last resort and maybe 1-2 schools in your area that have the major that you want. Later on, you can have the option of transferring to one of the three schools you’re applying to now.

Hope this helps and good luck applying!

I wanted to let you know that I got into all of the schools and I even applied to schools that I didn’t mention on this feed. Anyway I got into all the schools I applied to and I’m attending Stetson in the fall. I wish you the best of luck!

Congratulations!
