Will I get in?

I’d like to have an idea of where I will be accepted. I do not trust sites like cappex. Any advice/response is appreciated. Out of these schools which do you think I’ll be accepted/rejected(obviously impossible to say definitively, I only would like a better idea as to what to expect):
Notre Dame
Boston College
Wake Forest
Villanova
Lehigh
Richmond

I have a 3.78 UW GPA, 4.73 W. ACT: Composite-32 single sitting and 33 superscored(English: 34, Math: 31, Science: 33, Reading: 32). I’m currently a junior at a public Chicagoland high school(not very highly ranked). I will have taken 13 APs after senior year. My senior courseload is: AP Calc BC, AP Stats, AP Government/Macroeconomics, AP Lit, AP Chem, and Finance. I am the founder and president of an Mu Alpha Theta chapter at my school. I played soccer my freshman and sophomore years. I run varsity track and started it in my sophomore year(transitioned from soccer to track). I am a Boy Scouts Star Scout but will not become an Eagle Scout. I am a member of a number of other clubs. I will have around 150 hours of service by the time I apply. I am white and catholic. My dad received a PHD from Notre Dame, my mother received her masters from there, my sister received her bachelors from there as well. Upon applying at these six schools, I will have visited each. My intended major is Finance, but I have also considered mathematics and wouldn’t mind attending one of these schools even if I didn’t get admitted to their business program. I consider myself a talented writer and will likely write strong essays. My letter of recs will be good as well. As far as rewards go, I haven’t received any yet but likely will. At this moment I have perfect attendance and plan to maintain this. I am planning to take the June ACT where I hope to get my score up a little more. I will also take a couple SAT subject tests.

Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

All of them seem possible to get into, however notre dame seems like a reach to me because your UW GPA is a little below average.

Do you think the fact that I’m a legacy may serve to counter that fact? Thanks for your response.

I think your weighted GPA makes up for the unweighted, schools like to see improvement, and your choices are some pretty realistic ones. The ones that will give you the most trouble are Notre Dame and Wake Forest.

Thanks!

Would it be mean to laugh at the fact that you don’t trust Cappex but you trust strangers on CC?

You are an “average” excellent student. Your list does not have a single safety school. Legacy is not the hook it used to be. Your list is about equal between reaches and matches of varying levels. You need safeties with acceptance rates of 50% or higher. Good luck.

Lol I have safeties don’t worry.

& I prefer several responses from strangers than a single algorithm.

ND is a reach, but you certainly have a shot. The rest are solid matches, you will get into most, if not all of them.

I was under the impression that ND legacy acceptance rate is much higher than non-legacy, in the range of 40%. If that can be confirmed then I would say you have a great chance.
