I’d like to have an idea of where I will be accepted. I do not trust sites like cappex. Any advice/response is appreciated. Out of these schools which do you think I’ll be accepted/rejected(obviously impossible to say definitively, I only would like a better idea as to what to expect):
Notre Dame
Boston College
Wake Forest
Villanova
Lehigh
Richmond
I have a 3.78 UW GPA, 4.73 W. ACT: Composite-32 single sitting and 33 superscored(English: 34, Math: 31, Science: 33, Reading: 32). I’m currently a junior at a public Chicagoland high school(not very highly ranked). I will have taken 13 APs after senior year. My senior courseload is: AP Calc BC, AP Stats, AP Government/Macroeconomics, AP Lit, AP Chem, and Finance. I am the founder and president of an Mu Alpha Theta chapter at my school. I played soccer my freshman and sophomore years. I run varsity track and started it in my sophomore year(transitioned from soccer to track). I am a Boy Scouts Star Scout but will not become an Eagle Scout. I am a member of a number of other clubs. I will have around 150 hours of service by the time I apply. I am white and catholic. My dad received a PHD from Notre Dame, my mother received her masters from there, my sister received her bachelors from there as well. Upon applying at these six schools, I will have visited each. My intended major is Finance, but I have also considered mathematics and wouldn’t mind attending one of these schools even if I didn’t get admitted to their business program. I consider myself a talented writer and will likely write strong essays. My letter of recs will be good as well. As far as rewards go, I haven’t received any yet but likely will. At this moment I have perfect attendance and plan to maintain this. I am planning to take the June ACT where I hope to get my score up a little more. I will also take a couple SAT subject tests.
Please let me know what you think. Thanks.
