  5. #1 Starter For golf team, 4 year all-county, all-american (no i’m not going to play in college)
  6. Habitat for Humanity (2 times, went on 9 day trip to build homes for less fortunate)
  7. Model U.N. - attended a conference
  8. It’s Academic Team (4 years, senior leader)
  9. NHS (3 years)
  10. Math team (3 years, best team in county)
  11. Calculus club (2 years)
  12. Java (second in county)
  13. Co-founder and co-captain of Street Hockey Club
  14. Job at Golf Course (15-20 hours per week)
  15. 5 on AP Calc BC, 4 on Stat, 4 on US History</p>

<p>All in all: Great Grades, good extra curriculars, good and great letters of reccomendation, SAT’s are lower than average</p>

<p>Are you sending both your SAT and ACT scores? Your ACT score is better; approximately a 1360-1390 old or 2040-2090 new.</p>

<p>haven’t seen that chart btw, i had been using an old one that said act of 30 = 1340. Your’s is more updated I think so maybe things are looking better.</p>

<p>You definetely have a good chance, but I would still call Wake like a reachy match for you. If you have good essays that will carry a lot of weight. Nonetheless you are a good candidate, but I don’t like to give like percentages or anything. Good luck :)</p>

<p>Eflo, my son had similar gpa, was 3/320, golf course job like yours, varsity soccer 4 years, and some school clubs, little community service. He was accepted in '05 (SAT total was mid 1300’s). Think u have a good shot.</p>

Yeah, this site can really tank your self esteem. Lots of elitists/pretentious attitudes. Don’t put too much stock into it in general–it is no representation of the real world. People told me my chances at getting into Wake were slim and here I am :)</p>

you didnt get 2nd place in cs comp and showed up for it’s ac once this year and you called yourself senior leader?</p>
