My SAT score is 1850 and I’m taking the ACT soon. I don’t think I can retake my calc class since it’s too late to register at a community college for the summer. I did geo & alg 1 during middle school if it’s relevant.
I am in 3-6 clubs including NHS and Red Cross and also the drill team at my high school. I have at least 200 volunteer hours already stocked up. I’ve gone to competition for Academic Decathlon in 10th and I’ve won silver medals.
I’m planning to take AP Literature, AP Statistics, AP Psychology, AP Gov/Econ, and regular Physics (or TA) for my senior year. Thanks for helping!!!

You have fulfilled your 3 years of required Math however your D will definitely hurt your chances. Your best chances would be UCR and UCM and even these schools may be tough with that D. I would retake calculus your Senior year so at least you are showing the schools you are repeating the class, but it is not soon enough to help your GPA. On the UC application you list your classes in progress for Senior year.

I would look at some Cal states since they are more willing to accept the D.

Okay so I looked up more calculus classes again, does anyone know if straighterline’s General Calculus I is the right class? My school’s offices aren’t open rn…

For the grade replacement it has to be the exact class. You could check with the community college and ask which calculus course would be a replacement.
