Will i get into college lol? I'll chance back :)

AP SCORES: APUSH ( 5 ) Psych ( 4 ) English Lang ( 5 ) WHAP ( 3 )

Schools

  1. UT - Austin ( 1st Choice McCombs, Liberal Arts 2nd Choice. In-state )
  2. Northwestern ( CAS - EARLY DECISION )
  3. Emory ( RD )
  4. Boston College ( Carroll - Business/Finance )
  5. USC ( 1st Choice - Marshall Business 2nd Choice -CAS )
  6. NYU ( Stern )
  7. UNC ( OOS )

My biggest concern is that I really don’t have ANY business extracurriculars, although I have a good amount of leadership and debate and communication skills are kinda decent. My EC’s are kinda wishy-washy to me tbh

Thanks!

A 2140 is better than a 32.

@jarrett211 aight I’ll keep that in mind thanks

bump?

BC, TAMU, UNC, UT-Austin and SMU you’ll be fine.

Any other opinions? Especially Emory RD and Northwestern ED?

Regarding 2140 vs. 32, this - http://www.act.org/solutions/college-career-readiness/compare-act-sat/ - says they are exactly the same (have to look at CR and math together and then consider a 32 in English writing and compare it to a 740 on the writing portion of the SAT). Anyway, they are extremely similar scores.

Bump?

I think you have a good chance at these school (Northwestern, even ED, may be a little bit of a reach), but other than that you are good. Your test scores/APs do help make up for your GPA a little, and the upward trend will help as well, however if you do have a good solid reason for the poor grades early on make sure your guidance counselor mentions it. That may really help. But other than that, I don’t think you should worry, your ECs are good! Good luck!
