I am applying for either a history, economics or sociology major with emphasis on the academia/research side. While my extracurriculars don’t pertain to these majors completely, I spin them in my essay to demonstrate a sort of enlightenment I had for these subjects in the last year due to experiences. Also, I’m very close with my English teacher who is writing a strong recommendation for me. My writing, which pertains to history and economics, is placed on a personal blog.
I am applying to many schools, but thinking about doing ED for either CRWU, Carnegie Mellon, Tufts, William and Mary or Emory. Do I have a chance at any of these schools?

Also I placed at the FAMAT State Convention for the last two years in the History of Math Topic Test top 20 (with trophy).
Current AP’s: Calc BC, Physics C Mechanics, Physics C E+M, Stats (Self Study)
Current AICE: A level Thinking Skills, AS English Literature, AS Global Perspectives
