I got accepted to UIUC to pursue bachelor’s of Computer Science. My predicted A level grades for Computer Science, Maths, and Further Maths were AAA, but today I got my actual results, and they are ABB, respectively. Are there any chances of getting my application rescinded? Did they rescind any application in that situation in the past?
You’re fine. An ABC would have been an issue.
Good luck
Thank you so much. By the way, should I reach admissions office explaining why my results are lower?
For context, I was a dual-enrolled student during my last two years of school, attending both a national Uzbek curriculum school and an A-level curriculum school. Many of my A-level exams were scheduled on the same day as my final exams for the national curriculum. On those days, I had to take one exam early in the morning and then sit for an A-level exam immediately afterward in the afternoon. I believe this overlapping schedule significantly affected my performance, but I am not sure how to present this explanation to UIUC.
Absolutely not.
While I usually advocate being proactive, this is the exception. In the unlikely event they want an explanation, they will ask.
Unless those are c/ ds at this point you’re fine. Also sometimes less is more.
Enjoy UIUC and relax.
