I’ve been studying for about a week now and am registered to take the SAT on the May 7th date. I’m considering moving my date up and taking it on the March date. If I take it in March, will I have enough time to really prepare? I would try and study every day up until the test. I am a straight A student in honor classes. I’ve bought the official college board study guide, Barron’s aiming for the perfect score, and a set of 500 vocab flashcards by princeton review. My school also has online preparation. This will be my first time taking the test. My goal is to score between 1800 and 2000.

The SAT isn’t particularly hard. Considering you are a straight A student and you are intent on working hard, a month should be more than sufficient to prepare especially since you’re aiming for a score between 1800 and 2000.

You’ll be fine.

If you spend some time study each week, you should easily reach your goal, or higher.
