will i have time?

This is my schedule this fall:

Chem1a
Math1a
R&C: Great books of INdia
Freshman seminar: mechanical Eng.

My goal is to get all A's. But with this schedual,is it possible to go to the gym and workout? all throught HS, I had time. Will these classes take up all my time?

Thx

You'll have plenty of time to go the gym. That schedule is rather light in my opinion. You're taking two lower div techs that aren't nearly as tough as other weeders and an R&C. There's people who take 2-3 tougher techs, a couple breadths, are pretty involved in a few clubs, manage to get good grades, and still have time to go the gym. It's all about time management, and you've got a lot of time to play with.

I have a really similar schedule:

Chem1A
Math1B
Anthro2AC
Freshman Seminar

Any comments on mine?

Again, pretty easy schedule there. It's only 13 units, including a pretty easy breadth. Chem 1A can get tough with a fair amount of work, but it's nothing compared to OChem. Math 1B is a notorious weeder, but the work only involves weekly problem sets and quizzes.

Though classes may be tough, you won't have to spend all the time in the world to have success in them. And with only 13 units, you'll have plenty of time to dedicate to your classes and other activities.

This is a light schedule. You'll definitely have time. Good luck starting off nice and easy.

Hey do me next! :P

Chem1a
Math1a
PoliSci5
MCB55
Chinese10AX

Assuming I drop one of the last three (probably either polisci or mcb)

Well considering that you drop one, four classes will be quite standard. I don't know anything about PolySci5 or MCB55, but I'll assume that they are standard breadths with some amount of work.

And Chinese 10AX is actually quite a lot of work for a 3 unit class. It's not hard by any means, but you do have to put in the work to do good.

Overall, it's a good freshman schedule. 2 prereqs along with 2 breadths is pretty standard and you won't have to kill yourself to do well.
