will I make any of UCs? :frowning:
if not, what are some recommendations?
Can I even make to Biola University?
should I go to CC and get transferred?

Your GPA trend going from acceptable to bad will be detrimental to your chances at any UC. As it stands, you would be better off going to a CC and transferring. Some UCs will sign an agreement with you for guaranteed transfer, and you wont have to worry about ECs.

may I ask what EC is?

extracurriculars

and i agree that you would be much better off transferring out of a CC… although, because of how impacted many community colleges are, you may want to look into some Cal States. they are by no means empty, but may end up being an easier and cheaper route (i know many people who have had to spend 4 years at a community because of a lack of available classes)

Check the CC first. Many of them dont have the problem of impaction.

No state college is going to coddle you. The method to get into classes is to be persistent. State colleges weed out people who are not on top of everything all the time.

Unless if the professor is adamant that everyone who wants to add the class must leave, stay. I can’t tell you how many classes I got in despite the professor saying “you can stay, but you have virtually no chance ya da da”.

If you aren’t sure that you will do well at a CC, then go to a Cal state. An associate degree from a CC will do very little to further your career.
