Will I seem like a freak?

<p>I wanted to start the why upenn? essay by talking about my mission. You see, by the time I apply RD my mission is to have read every single page on the entire upenn site. every single word. Will I seem obsessive if I mention the fact that I’ve done this in my essay? I just want to convey my passion (assuming I actually meet this goal of course)</p>

<p>WOOO take it easy there lol just kidding, I think Im almost on the same track you’re on. These past few weeks Ive become sort of obsessed (scary, I know lol) with different universities. Suddenly I’m really worried about where Ill go or what I’ll do…lol and Im not even a senior yet (Im a junior, hooray 07’s)</p>

<p>Well it’s impossible for me to visit penn (financial and otherwise) so I want to show them this doesn’t make me any less dedicated. If money wasn’t an issue, I’d be joing everyone and doing ED. I MUST show them this is the place for me! Gawwww…</p>

<p>i think the admissions officers care more about how you write than the topic you choose to write about.</p>

<p>otherwise, that’s a pretty sad mission. you’re sure to be rejected (unless of course you write the above).</p>

<p>I think that the adcom would be more impressed if you read some books by faculty… or books about Penn or Ben Franklin or something. Reading all the pages on a website is silly and can hardly be called an “accomplishment”.</p>

<p>well I just really want to get the flavor of penn. Anyone can read books from the faculty. Anyone can stop by a library. You say silly. I say informative. :p</p>
