Will I still be able to get into UW?

I’m finishing up CC this winter 2011 (Bellevue College to be exact). I’m going to apply to UW, WWU, and WSU.

I have a 3.85 GPA right now, I’m on the deans list and I’m in the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

I don’t really have any extra-curriculars besides being in a few clubs about a year ago (I don’t go to any clubs anymore).

My lowest grade is a B+ and I only have 1. All my other grades are A’s and A-'s but mostly A’s.

I’m also a disability student (I actually haven’t turned in my papers yet, but I’m going to right before I apply to UW, so I can apply as a disability student)

Also since I’m financially supported, I can pay my tuition at UW full every quarter up front. I’m pretty sure this will make a difference considering the fact that the state is having a budget crisis.

This quarter I’m taking a class that I loathe and I know I’m not going to get a good grade in it. I’m just curious, would UW still consider me if I were to get 1 bad grade? I’m also developing depression right now so this doesn’t help my lack of interest in this class I’m in.

So I guess my main point is, will 1 bad grade kill my chances at going to UW? Or since my GPA is so high it won’t really effect much?

Also just to let you know, I’m applying to UW as a physics or mathematics major (haven’t decided yet). Both majors aren’t very competitive.

you should be fine, can’t you just withdraw from the class? colleges don’t look down on withdrawals as long as you limit them to only one or two your whole college career

I’ve already dropped one class, so I’d rather avoid dropping out as much as possible. Personally I think I’ll be fine if I get 1 B or C.

is it your major? A C is pretty bad if it’s in your major GPA

No, it’s an English class.

then who cares
