Will Internships and Precollege boost acceptance?

I did a Pre-college economics program at NYU for summer 06 in economics, and I’m participtaing in a paid internship at Ernst & young in Times square New york.
My passion is economics/business…will that boost my chances if I convey it in an essay?</p>

<p>I’m most certainly sure it will…Most likely 4 “Cornell university”…schools love students that do things that are acquainted with them…so most likely i’ll be accepeted 2 NYU…still need feedback && wat you guys think</p>
