<p>I’m sure many of us have noticed the similarities between this year’s presidential campaign and the one in the seventh season of The West Wing. Democrats have a minority candidate who’s labelled as not experienced enough, while the Republicans have a maverick who’s unpopular with his base, as summed up by this article:</p>

<p>Do you think life will imitate art till the very end and Joe Biden dies on election night? After all, the VP nominee in the show has a history of heart attacks which killed him, and Biden had two brain aneurysms which almost did.</p>
