Will med schools care a lot about a C+ in Latin 1.

I took this class and thought it was difficult.
I just finished my 2nd year and most of my premed prereqs with mostly A’s/A-s and some A+'s and only a B in one semester of biology (ecology, plants, evolution) and a B+ in calc 2.

average gpa prior to this grade was a 3.77. It’ll probably turn into a 3.65 after this semester’s grades are up.

-Concerned premed student =//

Other than the fact that it lowered your GPA, no they won’t care. Luckily your BCPM GPA is unaffected by this.

You mean doctors don’t go around speaking in Latin?

as a classics major, I was surprised when I got to med school and learned that.

Are you positive about that? I firmly believe that they write their prescriptions in Latin :D

Speaking is not writing ;)

If it was a C+ in a Bio, Chem, or Physics class then I would be concerned, but latin, seriously, ur fine. U have a solid GPA, just have a strong junior year and you’ll be fine

Sweet…I was a little worried. Can rest easy now. Thanks. :]
