<p>According to my transcript, I have all A’s from freshman to junior, and scores on SAT, ACT, etc near perfect. Except for a C in Algebra 1 in 8th grade.</p>

maybe you can talk to your GC and try to drop the credit since you were not in 9th grade yet, as long as you already have enough maths? UCs don’t even consider freshman GPA anyway.</p>
<p>UCs accept high school classes taken before high school for purpose of determining whether you meet course requirements for admission but do not consider the grades in those courses to determine admission.</p>
