ok, so im mexican and for my 8th (i know that doesnt count) and 9th grade (ditto), i took spanish speakers classes. in 10th grade, i decided to take regular spanish. the reason why i took regular spanish is because the teacher i had for 9th grade was going to be the teacher again for that years spanish speakers. my 9th grade experience with her was horrible. i struggle consistently in that class. she would put all the vocabulary words on the test (the chapters had an average of 60 vocab words) and then questions about the stories in those chapters, which would usually range from 30-40 questions. and throughout the class, she would talk about her life and how she went to mexico and met famous people i doubt she met. i decided to switch out of the class cuz i knew it would be hell year 2 and went into regular spanish.

so i took regular spanish and who knew that the teacher would be a *****?! she hated me (so i go to the first day in that class and she does a notebook check. all right i get 14/30 cuz im new and she said she will recheck it if i do the stuff. so i do everything and she gives me 15/30 (man she nearly sent me to the office when i cussed in front of her)) and i ended up with a B- the first semester. i get an A the next semester.

this year, i decided to skip regular spanish 7-8 and currently taking AP Span. Lang. with an A.

so the question is: will my chances of admission go down cuz i went from spanish speakers to reg. spanish then to AP Span. without going to the next level of reg. spanish? does it look like an easy way out?
