<p>I got a 29 on the ACT:
31 Reading, 30 Math, 31 English and got distracted during Science and got a 25 
I’m not overly disappointed because I waited until the last minute to study as I’m a transfer and it’s not required for most of the schools I’m applying to.
So I’m wondering if sending my score will help or hurt my chances?
I’m applying as a journalism major to NYU, USC, University of Maryland, University of Miami and Northwestern.
The only school that requires it is Northwestern.</p>
<p>Well that score will do more harm than help at Northwestern. Keep in mind their middle 50% on ACT is like 32-34. Maybe try to retake :)</p>
<p>Sadly, AZGrove is riight, it will hurt at Northwestern. I just visited the school, and they want a 31 (Minimum)!</p>
