I was thinking about dropping my world history class next semester because it was my 6th hour so I could go home early. Do you think it will affect my admissions decision at all?

Contact the college and ask.

Most likely, no.

there was just a post somewhere on the forum about the U of W revoking admission of kids who slacked off senior year (eg C’s and D’s) and also who listed tough classes for their senior year and then did not take them. So if you drop the class but don’t claim it when applying, no problem. If you do drop it you may be revoked, and if you don’t list it then it does make your schedule look a bit weaker than some of the other applicants competing for the same spaces.

My stats are already above average for the college. Also all of my classes are academic so dropping one class shouldnt be a problem.

It shouldn’t be. But once again, call. Better safe than sorry.

“Also all of my classes are academic so dropping one class shouldnt be a problem.”

If you know it isn’t a problem then why are you asking us about it?

Because I dont know its not a problem.
