Will my application be rescinded?

I have done very well up until senior year. My school divides grades into quarters. First quarter, I got an A. 2nd quarter, it fell to an A-. And third quarter, it fell further to a B+. I have never had these grades before. I am taking 5 AP classes. The only 2 that give me trouble are AP Calculus, (got a c-) and AP Physics, (got a c+) third quarter, although, I got in the high 90s first quarter. Part of the reason for these bad grades is the existential crisis I had at the start of second semester. I suddenly felt that grades weren’t the most important thing and that I was wasting my life. I was suddenly questioning why I was studying these subjects in the first place. Then I began to feel that the stress I was putting myself through and the sleep I was losing were not worth the good grades I was getting. I also think I took more AP classes this year than I can handle (although I took four last year). This year, the work load just seems heavier for some reason than the year before. I have received these bad grades and the worst part is that I still have no motivation to study! I want to get them up, but I can’t bring myself to do it.

Rule of thumb: No D’s or F’s. Some schools require above a specific GPA or no more than 2 C’s. It will depend upon the school and their provisional admission contract.

No D’s or F’s, as suggested above . . . and is it possible the you’ve slightly aggrandized your not uncommon, high school senior situation by declaring it an “existential crisis” (good grief)?
