I recently applied to the spring semester at a local university after failing most of my classes at a community college. I was suffering from depression and anxiety at the time and have a note from my therapist explaining the situation. I am taking 3 classes online and have an A in all of them. The university said that it’s likely I would be accepted if I kept my grades up, but my question is this. Will my failed grades continue to bring down my gpa if I don’t retake them or will I be starting over with only the credits from my online classes? I will retake the classes if need be, but I don’t need all of them for the major I will be pursuing. Thank you for the help!
