Hi I applied to two really competitive schools(UVA and William and Mary). All my credentials are fine except for my GPA which is a bit below average. It’s mainly due to my freshman GPA. Anyways this first semester of senior year I did extremely well and averaged my best GPA yet(a 4.56). I did so by maintaining an A in all my AP classes and I have quite a few(5). Will this help at all in the college selection process?

Your first semester Sr year grades are evaluated, yes.
