Will my friend's application to UCLA be cancelled if he has accepted to UCSD?

anybody know?

Wow. UCLA probably won't get word of it until after they make an admissions decision, but I've heard that once you send in that Intent to Register thing, you can't transfer it to another campus.

Was his acceptance some sort of accidental thing?

No you can't however if you really wanted to, you could just lose the $100.

ok maybe I'm slightly stupid, but do you mean if your friend has been accepted to UCSD? Or do you mean if your friend has accepted UCSD's offer?

the counselour at my school's transfer center said that you can send in multiple SIRs and although the schools do not care for it, they will not deny your acceptance because of it.

I wouldn't want to risk it!

Actually, I wish sending in multiple SIRs was my problem right now. It would mean I'd already heard back from all my schools by now -- and been accepted! LOL

Yeah don't risk it. If the UCs find out they can defer your admission
