I’m looking to apply to Cornell, Penn, and Stanford as my reach schools during RD. I’m worried about my gpa being to low early on in high school for these schools. Freshman year: 3.72( 1AP), Sophmore Year:3.83(3APs), Junior Year:4.0(4APs) Senior year:4.0(4APs). Will these schools hold me earlier gpa strongly against me or give me some lenience? My other stats are good enough: 35 ACT 1570 SAT 800 Math II, 800 Physics, 740 Biology
Your GPA is fine.
Assuming those are unweighted numbers, and your overall GPA puts you in the top 10% of your senior class, your GPA will not put you out of consideration.
As long as you have a good affordable list of target and safety schools, your chances are as good as any other candidate.
