Will my GPA transfer?

Hello there! I’m not expecting anyone to know the answer to this, but I might as well ask.

I’ll start with the fact that I already have my AA. Currently, I go to Florida Polytechnic University, and I’m transferring to UCF. I have been accepted, and have signed up for orientation. I’ve done pretty decently in my classes here at Poly, but it doesn’t seem like my credits will be transferring. There are differences in the classes themselves, and since the school is unaccredited, none of them count anyhow.

Unfortunately, I am not doing well in one of my classes. I’ve received solid A’s and B’s in my other classes, but there is a possibility that I’ll be failing my programming class. If I fail this class, then it seems that my GPA will drop to a 2.6, which is bad.

I know that I can always fix the GPA. Since the programming course doesn’t transfer, will I still have the low marks on my GPA? Will my GPA even transfer from an unaccredited school?

tl;dr: Will my GPA transfer to my new school from an unaccredited institution?

I appreciate any answers. Thanks!

GPA doesn’t transfer - whether the credits transfer or not. Your GPA will start fresh at UCF.
