Will my LA associates degree be accepted at OOS schools?

<p>I am going to graduate this spring with a associates in liberal arts. I plan on moving out of state, live and work a few years and then return to a state school to complete a bachelor’s degree. </p>

<p>Will a school in say California take a majority of classes I took in New York?( Gen eds)?</p>

<p>If you have AA yes you can apply to any OOS. Many people on this site talk about transferring out-of-state w/ their AA’s all the time. Many choose to transfer in-state w/ their AA’s b/c many have an articulation agreement which guarantees them a spot at a Uni in their state.
So anyway yes it is possible…is it guaranteed…no, but it is possible to go transfer to an OOS.
Your classes should transfer, as most classes you take at community college are just Gen. Ed. courses.
