Will my school take me back?

I dropped out from school a year ago and at this current time i have about a 2.5 gpa.

I have straightened myself out and am looking to go back to school, but I am worried about whether or not my school will take me back.

I would like to change majors if at all possible. I currently have a good job being groomed as a database administrator and I would like to puruse a degree in computer science, whereas when I dropped out I was enrolled in a physics program.

What are the chances that my school will take me back? What are the chances that they will let me go back for a different major?

What if I get my transfer requirements for my new major completed at a JC?
