i scored 2000 in october 2012, 1850 in november 2012, 1950 in december 2012, 1760 in october 2013, and the december 2013 test was so easy that i think i will score 2200+ and i think i will improve reading like 200-250 points will that affect the availability of my scores? and will my scores be delayed or something? (i did not cheat at all and i know what i am answering very well)

They won’t be canceled, but there is a small chance that they’ll be released later.

are you sure because one of my friends scored 460 reading in a test then in the next one he scored raw -7 = 210 reading and he got his 460 score canceled

An increase of over 400 points will most likely get your score delayed, but after a thorough investigation, your score will, in all likelihood insofar as you didn’t cheat, be released. The time it takes to be released is generally 1-2 weeks, but it can take up to 2 months in some cases. As I’ve mentioned before, rarely will College Board cancel your scores arbitrarily without any verifiable proof of cheating, but trust me, they can and will if there is strong enough suspicion or cheating. In Korea, for example, I know of at least 10 students who got their scores cancelled with score increases of only 200-300 based merely on suspicions of cheating. Korea is most definitely an exception to the rule, because we have been rocked by 3 major cheating scandals, so ETS Korea is arbitrarily cancelling floods of scores to show the ETS bosses back home that they’re doing something to punish the cheaters, but because they don’t really know who cheated, they’re just targeting anyone to fill up their status quo. Don’t worry though if you’re in America. You should be fine after a routine delay.

you mean that if my answers dont match any at the room and if i showed answers in the booklet the scores will not be canceled?

No. They won’t. What really are the chances, assuming that you didn’t cheat, that the answers you put are exactly the same as those in the room, unless you only missed 2, the most difficult questions on the test that others are likely to have missed? And if you wrote in the book (not just gang graffiti) then all the better! Don’t stress.

yes i wrote in the book and i lined the words which answer every question and i donot know whether i answered 1 or 2 questions wrong.

but what should i do if my scores are delayed?

You do absolutely nothing. You wait until you are sent an email or check your score every day to see if they released it. You do not even call (trust me, I’ve called over 20 times in one night) because they will transfer you over 5 times and then just hang up on you. And when you finally get through to someone, they politely tell you to wait, that for security purposes, they cannot tell you anything and that you WILL BE NOTIFIED.

you said that increase more than 400 points will get my scores delayed. 400 more than my highest score or 400 more than the last test because i was sick last test?

LAST TEST. If your score gets delayed, PM ME LATER. I have the number/email to the person in charge of security/score delays at ETS. After 3 days of flooding their lines, I finally got it last year.

But before we even get into all of that, JUST WAIT. Your score hasn’t even been delayed yet. It still might come out, ok???

okay man thank you i will pm you later :)
