It's ridiculous -- my GC still hasn't received my December SAT scores. Since February is approaching, I'm becoming alarmed that colleges might not consider them. I got my copy, but I don't know why my GC hasn't received mine.

Let me get this straight: you sent score reports to your colleges and your GC, and your GC hasn't gotten one, so you're worried that the colleges may not have either?

If that's the case, contact your colleges directly to see whether they've received your score reports. If you haven't, explain the situation to them (you requested them months ago, you're afraid they may not have been sent) and ask them what you need to do to make sure they're considered.

the colleges i applied to have already received my sat i and ii scores from oct and nov, respectively. the colleges i applied to have allowed me to send the scores via mail for my dec. sat, although my gc has yet to receive them. can i send them on my own?

If they don't have to be sent from College Board (which really surprises me), then yes, you can send them yourself.

If you're sending it on your own, maybe get your GC to sign/initial your copy, just to 'authenticate' it.
I ended up needing to send my own copy of test scores, and the college asked me to get my counsellor to sign it before faxing/mailing it in.
